Liver. interstitial, multifocal and chronic hepatitis (Milk-Spotted Liver) due to migrating larvae of Ascaris suum

Diagnosis: Pig, of approximately eight months. Liver. interstitial, multifocal and chronic hepatitis (Milk-Spotted Liver) due to migrating larvae of Ascaris suum

Description: Multiple scars of whitish color can be observed on the surface of the liver. In some of them small hemorrhagic points can be seen.

Comments: The liver was seized in a slaughterhouse. This kind of lesions does not usually cause clinical disease but considerable economic losses.
