BSTP 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting, 11 November 2022, UK

The 37th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society of Toxicological Pathology(BSTP)

Digital Pathology and Mouse Pathology Workshop

Thursday 10th – Friday 11th November 2022

Cedar Court Hotel, Harrogate, UK

Approved by the Royal Society of Biology for the purposes of CPD, this event may be counted as approximately 33 credits.

Approximately 11 hours of educational activity will be recorded on Attendance Certificates.

Financial support for the meeting has been kindly provided by the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland, which will enable five bursaries with free registration and travel and accommodation costs covered up to £500.  There will also be 5 bursaries which will enable free registration only.

Applications are welcome from interested members and non-members of the BSTP. The awarding of funding will be at the discretion of the BSTP Council.  Priority will be given to individuals working within an “early career” environment, for example, stipendiary MSc/PhD students, researchers studying/working within a relevant scientific field, or veterinary pathology residents at a recognised institution working towards a professional qualification or gaining more experience within the field of toxicological pathology.

All applications must be made by email to the BSTP Secretariat bstpsecretariat@gmail.com  Applications will be assessed by the BSTP Council on merit.  Priority may be given to candidates who have submitted poster abstracts to the meeting.  Successful applicants will be notified by the BSTPSecretariat in good time to register for the meeting.

The deadline for applications is Friday 30th September 2022

All ASM 2022 meeting attendees are encouraged to submit a poster on either digital pathology or mouse pathology. Contents of the poster should pertain in some way to the fields of toxicologic pathology and mouse pathology, but are not limited to these areas.  Please adhere to the guidelines contained in the document.  Both the BSTP and the Pathological Society of Great Britain are keen for early career attendees to submit a poster on a piece of work that they have been involved in.  For this reason we have tried to make the poster requirements as broad and non-restrictive as possible.  There is no requirement to follow the traditional Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion outline if attendees do not wish to do so.  Work presented in a poster does not have to have been previously published in a per reviewed journal.  There is a prize for the best poster.

All poster abstracts must be submitted by midnight on 14 October, 2022 to Anna Whitelaw at events@hg3.co.uk
